Facing Death

World Premiere - Adelaide Fringe Festival 2009
Location: Mercury Cinema, 13 Morphett St, Adelaide
Dates: 28 February 2009 - 21 March 2009
Duration: 60 Mins (no interval)

Why do we run from things that are inevitable? Why is dying a taboo subject that makes us feel afraid?

This new work by Mary Walker Productions explores death and dying using Elisabeth Kubler Ross’ 5 stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance) as a framework. It explores these stages sensitively and can be seen by all ages. Drama, physical theatre, dance and live music are used throughout Facing Death.
